Oh right. But I know some routers have a random admin password too, and I can’t remember whether 2wire ones do this but I think they do.

Great list… I can’t tell you how many times I’ve got to do work for new clients and needed to configure their router, but needed the defaults to do it.

That being said, when you install a router you should ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS change the password (and username if you can).

I’m pretty sure that what’s listed here isn’t default WEP/WPA keys, anyway. What we have here is the default username/passwords for logging into the browser based remote-admin screens. Which aren’t much use unless you can get past the WEP/WPA anyway.

How secure? If WEP, you can crack it in minutes. If WPA with a weak passphrase, just slightly longer
